THERMAL COMFORT PROPERTIES OF PLAIN KNITTED FABRICS WITH ELASTIC YARN

In recent years knitted fabrics contain elastic yarn are preferred mostly because of the higher elasticity, garment comfort and usefulness. In this study thermal properties and water vapor permeability of plain knitted fabrics which contain elastic yarns in every course or once in two courses were measured and evaluated statistically and compared with the result of fabrics which have no elastic yarn. So the effect of elastic yarn rate in the fabric structure to the thermal properties of fabrics was determined.
