It would not be wrong if we called the children of 0-24 months as “baby”, although the children between 0 and 12 months are called so. In recent researches, it has been seen that baby’s clothing has significant effects on its growth, development and psychology. The self confidence of a child who is dressed comfortably, tidily, pleasantly and above all ergonomically , is increasing and all these make him more happy and cheerful. That’s why, the clothing models, fabrics, accessories and patterns for the baby cloth has great significance.
The size of the pattern should fit the baby’s body and should not be incomfortable. The dress should be neither large nor small. In this case, that the body of dress is produced suitable for the body of baby is very important. However, it has not been encountered any scientific research concerning systematic survey of baby size till now. In this research, it is aimed to develop a methodology, with which the base measurements and the auxiliary measurements can be taken for a certain group of age.
