THE INVESTIGATION OF THE INFLUENCE OF THE COAGULATION BATH TEMPERATURE ON THE CROSS-SECTIONAL SHAPES OF ACRYLIC FIBERS BY MICROSCOPY

In this study, the changes of the cross-sectional shapes of acrylic fibers were investigated by using different coagulation bath temperature in the acrylic fiber production. The results of investigation have been shown that acrylic fibers have kidney-bean shape in the low coagulation bath temperature. If the coagulation bath temperature will be increase, then acrylic fibers will have more circular cross sectional shape.
