THE COMPARISON OF PNEUMATIC AND INJECTION ELASTOSPLICERS FOR COTTON/ELASTANE YARNS IN WINDING PROCESS

In winding process, after detecting and cutting the faults on the yarn, splicing of the yarn ends is important for productivity and quality of following processes. Pneumatic elastosplicer and injection elastosplicer have been applied to define the effects of air blast for splicing and yarn twist to the tenacity and elongation at break of cotton/elastane yarns.
