Discoloring is a wet textile process which is used to remove the faults of textile material and transfer it to production line free of faults. The degree of satisfactory of discoloring is related to reaching of initial colour of material. This is a measurable fact with a spectrofometer. The efficiency of discoloring is determined with process parameters as dye, raw material, auxiliaries, temperature, time. In this study, first of all dyeing was carried out to woven pretreated fabric with selected dyes and then discoloring has been applied using different process parameters mentioned above. At the end of experimental study, effect of these parameters have been investigated with the help of oneway-variance analyze (ANOVA). As a result, it was tried to decide how the most satisfactory discoloring effect could be obtained.
