Acrylic fibers are the fourth biggest synthetic fibers in textile applications. The properties of synthetic fibers are affected by many production parameters in the stages of fiber spinning. In the wet spinning of acrylic fibers, coagulation bath parameters have an important role on determining of fiber properties. In this paper, the production of wet spun acrylic fibers from poly (acrylonitrile / vinylacetate) copolymers was performed with a dimethylacetamide (DMAc) / water coagulation bath. In the production, four different coagulation bath temperatures (32ºC, 42ºC, 48ºC and 54ºC) were used and other production parameters were not changed. The inner structural properties of produced fibers were investigated by using wide angle x-ray diffraction method.
