Acrylic fibers are the most useful fibers among the synthetic fibers in textile applications. The properties of synthetic fibers are affected by several production parameters. In this paper, the production of wet spun acrylic fibers from poly (acrylonitrile / vinyl acetate) copolymers was performed with a dimethyl acetamide (DMAc) / water coagulation bath. During wet spinning of acrylic fibers, fiber samples are taken from each fiber production stage. X-ray diffraction graphics of these fiber samples are obtained by wide angle x-ray diffraction instrument. During the production of polyacrylonitrile fibers by using wet spinning method, the changes occurred in the inner structure of fibers were researched by investigation of their x-ray diffraction graphics.
